Management team, supported by an experienced team of skilled site
personnel and contractors, many of whom have worked with our Company
for many years. We also have a strong Administration team who
provide us with all the necessary support. The board of
Directors consists of:
Melvyn
Parrott, Chairman
formed the company with this
father, Victor Ephraim 38 years ago. Melvyn was Managing
Director until a few years ag
o
when he handed over to Derek. Melvyn now takes an Executive
role in the company helping to promote the business and taking a
keen interest in Health & Safety and Training issues, he serves on
the board of Eastern Builders Safety Group and is currently a
Director on the Construction Skill Certification Scheme Board
through the Construction Confederation.
Derek
Parrott, Managing Director
joined the company in
the early 1970's to enable his brother, Melvyn to organise sites
more efficiently by taking over the management of the office.
Derek is responsible for the efficient running of the company,
overseeing all aspects. He is involved in site acquisition for
Housing Association clients and all office
activities, supply chain management and purchasing agreements.
Chris
Layram, Surveying Director
has worked for Parrott's
over 24 years.
A member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and The
Chartered Institute of Building. Chris oversees all surveying,
estimating and partnering agreements Chris is currently
actively involved in developing the company's application for
Investors in People.
David Moore, Construction Director
has been with Parrott's for 20 years, joining as a Site Manager.
David is responsible for all site operations, with the assistance of
our three Contracts
Managers, covering Projects as diverse as hospitals and housing,
both new and refurbishment, and encompassing a broad knowledge of
all aspects of building. David takes schemes through from design to
completion and a close working relationship is maintained with all our
Clients and Design Teams.
