VE Parrott (Oakley) Ltd has a very strong Health & Safety culture with a safety record which is exemplary.  The Chairman is currently a director of Eastern Builders Safety Group and has been a director of Safety Groups for over 30 years. Our Safety Group membership is very beneficial as it carries out independent regular audits on all sites.  Advice and information is also available. Roger Mason is our Health & Safety and Training Manager.  Roger endeavours to ensure that appropriate training is received at all levels from Management to Operatives. The company also trains Craft Apprentices, Trainee Surveyors and Site Managers. Most of our Operatives are CSCS registered and we strongly encourage our Sub-contractors to have their staff registered also. Our Chairman has been on the Management Board of CSCS for about 7 years and is now on the board of directors. We support local schools providing work experience and have been involved in 'Way to Work' schemes and various training initiatives with clients including the involvement of 13 trainees in a self-build scheme in Marsh Farm, Luton which provided 13 new homes for those involved to occupy. Our commitment to Health & Safety and Training is paramount. Training will benefit even further when we have gained Investors in People status.
