Parrots watch Northants fly past Glamorgan Dragons

On Friday 29th May employees from V E Parrott and subcontractors were treated to a corporate day out at Northampton Cricket club where the Northants Steelbacks took on the Galmorgan Dragons in a twenty/20 match.

The weather was excellent which made for a good game of cricket. Northants batted first and after their 20 overs tallied up a score of 195 runs. Glamorgan tried to fight back but the impressive fielding and bowling from Northants made sure they only achieved 155 runs. Northants won by 40 runs.

During the evening a sweepstake was undertaken with half the winning going to charity. We raised a total of £450.00 which was donated to Sue Ryder Care - St John's Hospice.
