Project Handovers

A very prominent site on the A1 roundabout at Sandy, which was expertly supervised by Site Manager Kelvin Clarke, The project, for Aldwyck Housing Group, consisted of 5 houses and 16 flats for social rental. Kelvin worked on the project for 10 Months and the development was a great credit to his managerial skills on a very difficult site.
Sarum Road, Luton
This project was Managed by Site Manager Le Westcarr and handed over to a delighted client on 26th July 2011.The development comprises 2 houses and 6 flats for the private rental market. The site was very confined and Le worked hard to keep our neighbours happy!
Elmgrove Children's Centre, Harrow
We commenced this project on 1st March once the demolition of the existing building had been cleared. The project proved to be a challenge to construct due to the lack of storage space and available access for deliveries and the site set up.
The design incorporated a number of unusual features including a pyramid roof light in the central core supported on a steel frame. A soft play area was installed to the rear of the building with an electrically operated canopy over the top. The project was handed over on 31st August and was completed under the supervision of our Contracts Manager Nic Cowell.
Hitchin Street, Biggleswade
This development was in the heart of the conservation area of Biggleswade and was designed and constructed to reflect this. Traditional construction, with timber sliding sash windows and slated roofs all add to the street scene. Site Manager Dave Harris again had to contend with a very small site and restricted delivery space. The building was constructed over three floors for Grand Union Housing Group and managed by MacIntyre Care.
